Resources Archive

We hope you enjoy using our free WoLLoW lesson resources. You can use our resources in the following ways:

  • Follow the Key Stage 2 or Key Stage 3 course at a pace that suits the students and time allowed on the curriculum, identifying and exploiting curriculum crossover along the way.
  • Follow the course alongside more specific language provision to add a wider dimension to language learning.
  • Pick and choose standalone lessons or sequences of lessons to add variety, context and depth to established programmes for specific language learning.
  • Use as one-off lessons to encourage students to think about language in different ways – European Day of Languages (26 September 2021), International Mother Language Day (21 February 2022).

Our resources are copyrighted to The World of Languages and Languages of the World (WoLLoW). Please keep all lesson resources in their original format and be sure to credit WoLLoW as you teach the course. Please keep the resources to within your school and if any other schools like the look of our work, send them to our website ( where they can request access to our resources. We would be very grateful for any feedback.

Please choose which unit you would like to access so that we can show you the relevant resources for that unit.
